There was a boat and this boat was battered and broken, weathering the storm of its long life, with cracks and holes gained over the years that were covered over and plastered over, over and over and over again.
But what the boat truly wanted was some rest. It wanted gentler and calmer seas.
One day it found the courage to travel, to make the long trip to warmer climates.
There were big waves to overcome, to ride out. There were long days without seeing any other boats as it was amid the huge ocean.
But once it reached the warmer shores it settled. It let the sun warm its
weathered wood. It let the gentle warm breeze soothe its cracks and holes.
Its journey before was what brought it to choosing Change. Its journey before
was what brought it to seek out this new found bliss. And so the boat was thankful for this.
Thankful for what it had endured before, for it was this that led it to newness
and new heights of happiness that it simply would not have drummed up the desire for had it not experienced its years of hardship.
Now this boat is happy, contented. It is Knowledgeable and wise.
It has come to learn and understand so much.
And now, when you see it gently swaying in the softer currents of the sea, it no longer rocks in the way that it used to.
It now flows amidst the gentle current feeling Knowing, Happy and Hopeful.
This boat hopes that it Inspires us all to Know that we can always, always Choose to make our own Journey to Love.
